Leadtek Launches New WinFast GTX 560 Ti Hurricane

Leadtek has just launched a brand new WinFast GTX 560 Ti Hurricane graphics card, which comes with a more powerful cooler installed by default, that should simplify overclocking the card well past its already factory-overclocked settings. WinFast HurricaneThe Leadtek WinFast GTX 560 Ti Hurricane graphics card is fitted with a custom cooler with two heatpipes and two 92 mm fans on top–all packed neatly into a blue cover. The noise levels for the WinFast GTX 560 Ti Hurricane graphics card is said to be an impressively low 21 dBA idle and 43 dBA at full load. By making use of two fans, LeadTek can avoid the fan rotations going up to the level seen with NVIDIA’s reference cooler, which has a rather high noise level.

Otherwise the Leadtek WinFast GTX 560 Ti Hurricane has a lot in common with other current offerings in terms of hardware based on the GTX 560 Ti chip from NVIDIA. The graphics card has a 822MHz graphics core, which is the standard core clock for the Ti version of the GTX 560 and its 384 CUDA cores. However, considering the dual fan setup and the already low noise levels, this card should have pretty good overclocking potential.

In terms of connectivity, there are dual DVI-D outputs on the card, along with a mini HDMI port that is also capable of carrying HD audio through the HDMI output. It can be configured in 2-way SLI and should be available in stores soon.
